My mom and I went to Nylo in Warwick last week for lunch and I totally forgot to mention it! It was very yummy but it was the most leisurely lunch I’ve had in quite some time… 90 minutes!! There were only 5 other tables occupied. I think it was a slow kitchen which was ok since we didn’t have anywhere else we had to be.
I started with the fig, gorgonzola, and prosciutto flatbread and my mom went with the garden greens with roasted tomatoes. My pizza was enormous for a lunch portion and took the leftovers for lunch the next day… super yummy! Mom’s salad was good with the roasted tomatoes and fresh vinaigrette dressing.
Mom chose their cheeseburger for her lunch entree and I went with their portobello & veggie wrap. My mom’s burger worried me when she cut into it because it wasn’t the slightest bit pink and I was concerned that it would be dry but it wasn’t… super moist and tasty too… it wasn’t overpowered by any spices and you could tell it was quality beef. My veggie wrap was delicious and had a great balsamic syrup on it too. Both of our entrees were server with yummy hand cut fries!
Then for dessert Mom had the creme brulee special, which was chocolate and peanut butter while I chose the warm blueberry cobbler. My cobbler was huge and tasty, served with house made vanilla bean gelato. My mom’s creme brulee was so decadent but not overpowering with peanut butter or chocolate.
I would defintley dine at Nylo again and plan to take the husband back!
